The Maserati MC20 is a very, very handsome supercar. Fairly restrained in its original form, though, isn’t it?
Do you approve of this carbon bodykitted Maserati MC20?
Carbon add-ons often look a little shoddy, but these renderings have certainly caught our attention. Check out the MC12-style roof scoop and the relocated exhausts to make room for the giant diffuser. Very strong.
The pronounced front lip and side skirts bring the 621bhp MC20 closer to the ground and that massive rear wing curves with the rear of the car. It looks great in silver with the blue carbon too. Or is that just us?
According to 7 Designs, the kit will be known as ARIA and production will be limited to just 25 examples when deliveries of the MC20 eventually begin. Don’t expect any major engineering changes though, this is about “injecting racing DNA into the MC20 while maintaining the purity of the original design.”
The performance sedan is becoming extinct, but the sport crossover SUV is on the rise. Volkswagen of America chose to develop a high-performance version of their Atlas Cross Sport family crossover to coincide with the debut of the GTI and Golf R.
