The Ultimate BP25 S2000: Bulletproof’s 580hp Supercharged JDM Masterpiece

At the centre of BP25 is Bulletproof's in-house F20, now fitted with a Vortech supercharger and supporting upgrades that push output to a headline figure of 580 hp at 9,300 rpm.

The build intentionally keeps the S2000's defining trait, a high-revving powerband, while stacking usable midrange torque beneath it.

Drive is routed to the rear axle through a six-speed transmission sourced from a later AP2 S2000 and an ASM x Drexler limited-slip differential.

Supporting mods include upgraded injectors, an Amuse titanium exhaust manifold, and fueling/engine-management calibrations designed to preserve throttle linearity up to the redline.

BP25's specification list reads like a who's who of JDM performance: Spoon, Top Secret, Varis, Amuse, AEM, Mugen, and J's Racing.

The Varis Dark Panther widebody makes its U.S. appearance here, combining with a Spoon hardtop to give the S2000 a silhouette that is both aggressive and proportionally faithful.

Wheels draw inspiration from Tsuchime hammered metalwork and incorporate structural lessons from Unplugged Performance, Bulletproof's sister company.

Large 295/30R19 Toyo Proxes sit proudly at each corner, filling the carbon arches and contributing to the car's purposeful stance.

Chassis, stopping power, and finish

Handling upgrades include Top Secret coilovers, additional chassis bracing, revised control arms, and adjustable camber geometry intended for precision driving.

Braking duty is handled by Brembo Pista hardware, sized to handle the extra kinetic energy generated by the high-power setup.

The paint scheme, Lamborghini Balloon White with gold accents, nods to Bulletproof's Concept GT86 and adds a concours-level finish to a track-capable package.
