The California-based tuner has reimagined the Porsche 911 with a full carbon-fibre body, blending influences from the legendary Porsche 935 and American fighter jets. Limited to just 26 units, the F-26 showcases Gunther Werks’ philosophy of mixing heritage with cutting-edge design.
At its heart sits a 4.0-litre, air-cooled twin-turbo flat-six developed with Rothsport Racing. Producing an incredible 1,000 horsepower and 750 lb-ft of torque, it stands among the most powerful air-cooled 911 engines ever.
High-octane ethanol unleashes its full potential, while adaptive mapping allows for standard petrol when needed.
Power is sent through a six-speed manual gearbox topped with a polished wooden shift knob. This playful detail highlights the car’s mix of nostalgia and raw, mechanical driving feel.
The F-26 uses Turbo Twist magnesium monoblock wheels with 295/30R18 front and 335/30R18 rear tyres to handle the output. The wheelbase has been extended by 30mm for better weight distribution, while double-wishbone front suspension, adaptive JRZ dampers, motorsport ABS, and advanced traction control ensure composure at speed.
Inside, Gunther Werks combines exposed carbon fibre, Alcantara, and bespoke leather upholstery. Despite its motorsport spirit, the F-26 retains modern convenience with a Porsche Classic infotainment system featuring Apple CarPlay. At just 1,225 kg, it delivers blistering performance without compromise.
With a projected price tag of $1.5 million and only 26 units planned, the Gunther Werks F-26 is as exclusive as it is extreme. Unveiled at Pebble Beach, it quickly became one of the show’s most talked-about debuts.
