The German tuner is no stranger to extreme G-Wagen transformations, having recently showcased both the XL 800 and XLP 800 Adventure trucks.
But this latest creation turns the madness up another notch, adding a third axle, stretching the chassis, and delivering even more visual drama and off-road performance.
Stretched, Reinforced, and Loaded with Details
The XLP 800 6x6 Adventure is no ordinary pickup. Brabus has extended the chassis by an impressive 153cm using a specially engineered steel module designed for maximum torsional rigidity.
Painted red to match the more than 200 interior accents, the extension houses a completely reimagined load bed featuring pre-preg carbon cargo boxes, soft teak flooring, and aircraft-style tie-down rails.
A power-retractable step at the rear makes loading easier—should an owner decide to use it for anything more practical than looking like a millionaire’s Mad Max prop.
Hardcore Off-Road Engineering
All the hardware that made the standard XL 800 so capable carries over, including portal axles on all three axles, giving a massive 47cm of ground clearance and exceptional axle articulation. KW-developed adjustable suspension can be fine-tuned from inside the cabin, while bespoke billet-aluminium wheel hubs, control arms, and axle housings finished in signature Brabus red add strength and style.
The 22-inch wheels are wrapped in chunky all-terrain tires, tucked beneath wide carbon fiber arches. Stadium-spec LED light bars complete the menacing look, ensuring that, if you can find somewhere to park its 6.2-metre length, it’s ready for anything the wilderness can throw at it.
Supercar Power, Supertruck Appetite
Under the hood sits Brabus’s 800 package for the AMG-sourced 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. Upgrades include custom turbochargers running 1.6 bar of boost, as well as recalibrated fuel injection, ignition, and boost mapping. The result? A colossal 800 hp at 6,600 rpm and 738 lb-ft of torque from just 3,600 rpm.
Despite weighing as much as a small house, the XLP 800 6x6 Adventure can reportedly sprint from 0–62 mph in under six seconds. But performance comes at a cost: fuel consumption is rated at just 11.7 mpg (WLTP) with CO₂ emissions of 420 g/km.
Luxury Meets Brabus Excess
Inside, the XLP 800 6x6 is every bit the flagship Brabus. Leather and carbon fiber dominate, with rear doors opening to a full 90 degrees for easier access. Brabus branding is everywhere, and the side-exit exhaust delivers a V8 soundtrack loud enough to wake the dead.
Built to Order: If You Can Afford It
Each example will be hand-built and tailored to the buyer’s exact specifications. While black is the brand’s go-to, customers willing to spend at least £1,161,000 before taxes might just convince Brabus to try a different color.
For anyone seeking the ultimate G-Class, this 6x6 Adventure makes even a standard Brabus SUV look tame.
