Hot Wheels just dropped some sweet Honda sets at the Mattel Brick Shop! If you're into Japanese cars, especially the Civic EF or the S2000, you can now build your own LEGO-style versions. It's a cool way to create, change, and show off these famous JDM rides.
Mattel's new Hot Wheels building sets feature 1:32-scale replicas of the iconic '90 Honda Civic EF and '07 S2000, priced at £21.99 each.
Mattel just dropped two fresh Mattel Brick Shop™ Hot Wheels® sets made with Honda. Now, fans can build some sweet Japanese sports cars, brick by brick.
The new additions join the Mattel Brick Shop Speed Series™ lineup with highly detailed 1:32-scale recreations of the Custom ’90 Honda Civic EF and the ’07 Honda S2000.
The models, shown with the bigger versions, are really detailed and look just like the real thing, even at that scale.
From the Civic EF’s angular body lines to the S2000’s windshield and rear spoiler, each set captures the characteristics that made these Hondas standouts in tuner and JDM culture.
These sets are made for collectors and grown-up fans. They have real metal parts, doors that open, changeable wheel covers, and cool sticker sheets.
Each kit also features an exclusive matching 1:64 Hot Wheels die-cast model and a Hot Wheels signature metal plate to tie the builds into the brand’s broader performance catalog.
“Mattel Brick Shop continues to expand how adult fans and collectors interact with legendary vehicles,” said Ted Wu, Global Head of Vehicles and Building Sets at Mattel. “The Honda Civic EF and S2000 are true icons of Japanese performance culture.”
“Seeing icons like the Civic EF and S2000 reimagined through Mattel Brick Shop gives fans a new, hands-on way to engage with the engineering and spirit that define the Honda brand,” said Rebecca Adamson, Head of Automobile at Honda Motor Europe – UK.
