Škoda says the concept combines “clean surfaces and bold proportions” with retro details that honor the original Felicia Fun’s character.
The front end adopts cues from the latest Enyaq and upcoming Elroq, including the brand’s signature Tech-Deck Face grille. Out back, a full-width light bar stretches across the tailgate because in 2025, no new car feels complete without one.
Instead of the typical red glow, this one shines pink. That theme continues throughout the design, with pink wheel accents and tinted glass giving the truck a breezy, beach-inspired vibe.
Inside, the cabin features a full-width digital display showcasing retro-style video game graphics, a fitting nod to the ‘90s era.
The one thing missing? The original’s quirky jump seats in the load bay. This reimagined version is strictly a two-seater, though Škoda notes the proportions could allow for an expanded seating setup if it were developed into a production model. That small detail aside, the concept stays true to the Fun’s lighthearted DNA.
Designer Julien Petitseigneur explained his inspiration:
“The original car was pure fun – it didn’t take itself too seriously, and it stood out in a way that few other Škodas ever have. For me, it was the obvious choice to reimagine in my spare time. I even found myself looking at buying an original while working on the sketches.”
Will It Reach Production?
At this stage, the Felicia Fun revival is just a design study, with no official plans for production. Still, Škoda hints that a production-ready version could accommodate the extra seats in back, which would certainly bring it closer to the original’s party-truck spirit.
With lifestyle-oriented EVs gaining popularity, a modern-day Felicia Fun could easily find its place in the market. After all, showing up to a weekend hike or beach trip in a retro-inspired Škoda pick-up would be a statement few enthusiasts could ignore.
