Nissan is electrifying the iconic R32 Skyline GT-R, blending cutting-edge EV tech with nostalgic design to create the ultimate driver's car for a new era.

Built By Legends has unveiled its latest marvel for 2024, a reimagined R34 Skyline GT-R, combining cutting-edge performance with the iconic design of this legendary Japanese sports car.

At the 2024 New York Auto Show, Ponz Pandikuthira, Senior Vice President and Chief Planning Officer of Nissan North America, assured Modified Rides that the GT-R and Z models will endure, signaling a potential reinvention that may require time.

Nissan has revealed two new special edition GT-Rs, each featuring paint colours designed to pay homage to the legacy of the R34 Skyline GT-R.

Nissan is currently introducing the 2025 GT-R with great fanfare. Reservations are now being accepted for the 2025 Nissan GT-R, exclusively within the Japanese market.

It will also boast a completely revamped interior and upgraded brakes, tyres and suspension, with a starting price of £369,000.

In recent years, the price of a Nissan Skyline GT-R has skyrocketed, particularly for the R34 model, which became popular due to its numerous appearances in the "Fast and Furious" franchise.

As a result of Nissan's admission that it is working on an electrified R32 Skyline GT-R, there will be some debate.

There is no way of knowing what the future holds. Even the most well investigated theory is still a guess.
