UP.FIT is no stranger to modifying Teslas for police work. They already offer packages for the Model 3, Model Y, Model S, and Model X. The Cybertruck will join this lineup, equipped with a comprehensive set of police tools. These include fender-mounted spotlights, a PA system, and enhanced radio and computer systems. Departments can also opt for a front push bar, and these patrol-ready Cybertrucks will ride on durable 18-inch forged wheels.

Beyond police modifications, UP.FIT also prepares the Cybertruck for tactical, military, and search-and-rescue operations. Options include prisoner partitions, weapons storage, and K9 enclosures. The company can also enhance the vehicle's brakes and tires for extreme off-road use. The Cybertruck can be outfitted with internet connectivity via Starlink, a subsidiary of SpaceX.

One of the standout features of the Cybertruck, according to UP.FIT, is its "stainless steel exoskeleton." This robust bodywork, touted as "ballistics capable," is claimed to withstand gunfire from certain small arms. UP.FIT also highlights the truck's impressive handling and driver-assistance technology as key reasons why the Cybertruck is well-suited for law enforcement duties. At the same time, specific range and pricing details were not disclosed, UP.FIT's other Tesla police vehicles typically offer a range of 270 to 300 miles and cost around $90,000.

With substantial interest already apparent, UP.FIT has opened orders for the Cybertruck police vehicles. So, keep an eye out, you might soon spot one of these formidable vehicles patrolling your local highways.
