The Bentley Supersports is here, marking the first rear-wheel-drive Continental GT in decades and the lightest Bentley in 85 years.

The 2025 Supersports emphasizes weight reduction and driver engagement over sheer horsepower, building on Bentley's commitment to lightweight Continental GT engineering.

Nearly half a tonne lighter than the standard 2,459 kg Continental GT, it sheds the PHEV components for a true rear-drive layout, following the evolution of Bentley GT3-R track-focused models.

The 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 produces 666hp and is paired with a recalibrated eight-speed DCT. This combination allows for a 0–62 mph sprint in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of around 192 mph, showcasing Bentley’s focus on high-performance tuning.

A bespoke titanium Akrapovic exhaust enhances the sound without manipulation, while extensive weight-saving measures improve agility.

Chassis and Suspension: Rear-Wheel-Drive Precision

Reworked chassis and suspension setup for enhanced rear-drive dynamics and driver engagement.

Bentley reworked the chassis for optimum rear-drive dynamics. The rear track is 16mm wider, rear steering is retained, and suspension, steering, and ESC systems are recalibrated for enhanced driver engagement.

Drivers can deactivate electronic aids for controlled oversteer, delivering a purist driving experience.

  • Touring: Opens exhaust valves and stiffens the chassis for a sportier feel.
  • Sport: Maximizes powertrain response and chassis precision for track-style cornering.

Combined with high-performance tyres and aerodynamic upgrades including dive planes, side sills, a diffuser, and the largest splitter ever fitted to a Bentley, the Supersports achieves up to 1.3 g lateral grip, allowing cornering speeds roughly 30% faster than a standard Continental GT.

Interior: Luxury Meets Motorsport

The cabin balances track-focused design with Bentley-level luxury. Rear seats are removed in favor of a two-seat layout, with a carbon-fiber tub wrapped in leather, reflecting principles from Bentley Mulliner bespoke programs.

Seats feature heating, electric adjustment, and bespoke embroidery.

Customization options are extensive, with 22 Main Hide colors, 11 Secondary Hides, and 9 Accent Hides available in single-tone, duo-tone, or tri-tone combinations.

The interior demonstrates Bentley’s philosophy of performance-focused luxury.

Exterior and Customization

Limited to 500 units, the Supersports will launch with 24 performance-focused colors and five design themes.

Signature features include forged 22-inch wheels and a Supersports spoiler that enhances both style and downforce, totaling more than 300 kg over a standard Continental GT.

Bentley CEO Dr Frank-Steffen Walliser highlighted the significance:

“The new Supersports is more than just the most driver-focused Bentley yet. It signifies a return to extreme cars—combining extraordinary capability with true driver engagement, while remaining bespoke pieces of automotive art.”

Production and Availability

Orders for the Supersports will open in March 2026, with production starting at Crewe at the end of next year.

First deliveries are expected in 2027.

Pricing is anticipated to be around £300,000, and given Bentley’s limited production, demand is likely to exceed supply well before the launch.
