ABT has unleashed even more power from Audi’s legendary 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder, pushing output to a wild 493 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque.

ABT has taken the already quick Audi RS3 and squeezed serious extra performance out of it with the RS3-R tune. The result: a sharper car that’s as fun to drive as it is rare.

The RS3-R package delivers an extra 99 horsepower and 74 lb-ft of torque over the stock RS3. That power hike trims the 0–62 mph time from 3.8 seconds to 3.3 seconds, and top speed is electronically raised to 186 mph — which owners can unlock using a free companion phone app.

That extra pace makes the RS3-R especially tempting for anyone living near unrestricted roads like Germany’s Autobahn, although it’s equally at home on a twisty B-road or a track day.

More than just power

ABT’s upgrade isn’t limited to engine software. The RS3-R adds a number of hardware and styling updates to match the straight-line performance:

  • Sportier suspension for improved body control and sharper turn-in
  • Dedicated exhaust system that gives the five-cylinder a more aggressive note
  • 20-inch forged wheels wrapped in performance rubber
  • Carbon aero kit — spiky front lip, flicks, rear skirt insert and a spoiler to improve airflow and presence
  • New mirror caps and other subtle styling cues

Interior & exclusivity

Inside, ABT/RS3-R branding is visible throughout the cabin to remind you this isn’t a run-of-the-mill RS3. The tuner has confirmed production will be strictly limited to 200 units, which makes the package as collectible as it is quick.
