The Ineos Grenadier Trialmaster X LeTech sets a new standard for off-road vehicles. With heavy-duty upgrades and rugged design, it’s built to conquer extreme terrain and is now available to order in Germany, soon expanding across Europe.

After attracting interest from over a thousand potential buyers, this upgraded version of the rugged Grenadier is now available to order in Germany, with plans to expand across Europe soon.

This isn’t an entry-level price tag—expect to invest around €170,000 excluding VAT for the Station Wagon model, and roughly €171,000 excluding VAT for the larger Quartermaster pickup. But what you get in return is a meticulously enhanced off-road machine built for tackling the harshest terrain.

The journey of each Trialmaster X LeTech begins at the Ineos factory in Hambach, where they’re built as Trialmaster “mud spec” models equipped with front and rear locking differentials. From there, they are sent to LeTech’s workshop near Stuttgart in Germany for extensive upgrades.

Under the hood, the Grenadier sticks with its proven 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six engine from BMW, available in petrol or diesel variants, ensuring solid performance and reliability.

The LeTech conversion adds rugged details like 18-inch forged beadlock alloy wheels, upgraded brakes, wider wheel arches, and durable running boards. Functional extras such as a front winch, rear ladder, roof rack, and a lightbar with six powerful LED spotlights come standard.

Optional features include a tyre pressure control system and LED rear lamps, perfect for night-time off-roading or rescue missions.

Despite its rugged focus, the interior isn’t spartan. The Trialmaster X LeTech boasts a full leather interior with heated front seats, safari windows, and a premium sound system, providing comfort and convenience during tough expeditions.

Ground clearance has been raised to 450mm, a significant 186mm increase over the standard model, while wading depth has improved to 1,050mm, allowing for deeper water crossings.

Enhanced suspension travel and axle articulation mean the vehicle can handle rough terrain with ease. The towing capacity remains an impressive 3,500kg, backed by a five-year unlimited mileage mechanical warranty.
