This 'Beast' Hyundai Tucson appears in the new Uncharted film

Hyundai has unveiled the 'Beast,' a new version of its famous and extremely practical Tucson family SUV.

There are little details about this new trim level, and ModifiedRides.net wonders if it will sit alongside the 'N Line' grade in the sensible family SUV's line-up, or even above it.

In any event, Hyundai merely mentions a "rugged appearance with stronger bumpers," as well as new tyres and "other outdoor-ready accessories" in this new model.
This new mid-sized special-edition family SUV is being targeted towards the wise-cracking, treasure-hunting crowd, ModifiedRides.net can confidently confirm.

There's no word on powertrains, but expect a 1.6-litre turbo petrol from Hyundai.
However, the impact of the new bumpers, tyres, roof rack, and overall outdoorsiness on the predicted fuel efficiency and performance has yet to be determined.

Indeed, no pricing for the Tucson 'Beast' has been announced, but it appears the car will make its debut in the feature film Uncharted, which is set to release later this month and is based on a best-selling videogame about a treasure hunter named Nathan Drake who is searching for a lost fortune and... ah, gotcha.
