Manthey Racing has unveiled its Porsche 911 GT3 track pack, and it appears to be rather nice.

Manthey Racing, based at the Nurburgring, has introduced its first 992-generation performance kit, a Porsche 911 GT3 track pack.
And the big news is that it appears to be a winner.

In the last 18 months, Manthey Racing has brought us a racier version of the GT3 RS, as well as a tough Cayman GT4 and GT4 Clubsport.

A four-way adjustable suspension package, a lightweight 'OM-1' rim set, and enhanced brakes with new pads and braided brake lines have all been fitted to the 911 GT3.

A front splitter, a rear diffuser, a carbon rear wing, and the speaker-like rear axle aerodiscs have all been added to improve the aero.

Although extensive testing took place at the Nurburgring (obviously), the company states that the car's road-going qualities were also prioritised, allowing buyers to "make comfortable trips to track days in comfort."

"The first performance kit for a new model series is always something special, and I'm extremely glad that we're now able to reveal the preliminary findings," said Nicolas Raeder, Manthey Racing's managing director.

"The production model lapped the Nordschleife, the traditional standard for all sports cars, 17 seconds faster than its predecessor during fine-tuning runs."
That's incredible, and I can't wait to see how fast the car will be once the Manthey performance kit is installed."
Crikey.

"The team at Porsche in Weissach presented us with a significant task when they built the new GT3," said Stefan Mages, the company's head of development.
Our goal of significantly increasing the performance of the Porsche GT models for track use without making too many alterations to the car's core DNA while still creating an appealing package for customers who enjoy driving on the track has been achieved.
